Sorry! This class has been cancelled!
Endurance rowing is a phenomenal way to build strength, stamina, and lung capacity.
This 300-level indoor rowing class is intended for those with previous indoor rowing experience. Participants will learn advanced indoor rowing techniques for maximum efficiency and power over the course of relatively long pieces. This course is ideal for those rowers participating in distance challenges or training for extended distance rowing, such as erg marathons.
Students should have previously taken a 100 level indoor rowing course, although in some cases beginning rowers will be accepted with the permission of the coach. Come dressed to row (shorts & t-shirt)!
Your instructor will be Sarah Walczewski, captain of the GRRA's masters women's team, for a four-session class at the YWCA in downtown Grand Rapids. Locker rooms are available at the YWCA, and parking is available on the street or in nearby parking lots.
Classes meet 7:00 - 9:00 pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Attendance is limited! Register now to hold your place.
Indoor Rowing 301: Endurance Builder meets 3/5, 3/7, 3/12, and 3/14.
