Winter training will focus on improving strength and endurance in preparation for the spring racing season and is open to any athlete who has completed at least the beginner level or has prior rowing experience. Practices will include a combination of erg training, cardio, and circuit workouts. There will be an emphasis on personal improvement throughout the season and the coaches will help each athlete set individual goals.
Athletes of all experience levels are welcome to participate.
Athletes will be required to bring separate shoes to wear in the workout space. Please wear your street shoes or boots and change shoes outside the room before entering. This will help us minimize tracking snow/mud/dirt into the space.
Running outside will be a part of the training program. We will utilize the White Pine Trail on some days, weather and conditions permitting. Please come prepared.
Cost includes coaching, indoor training space, race entry fees, insurance, USRowing membership, equipment maintenance and repair.
