Current and prospective GR Crew Athletes: Fall Rowing registration is now available! Returning athletes will not need to reapply... you should login and change your membership level to "Grand Rapids Crew (Fall 2010)".
You can both apply and pay online, or you can apply online and print an invoice and bring a check to practice with you.
New rowers should download and print the 2010 Annual Waiver which is required annually for all rowers. Please fill the form out and bring it to practice to give to your coach.
Fees: $200/fall season + regatta travel expenses as necessary.
Novice Rowers: When you sign up online, choose "Pay Manually" to pay the graduated ($50 first) rate... the "Pay Online" method will only let you pay the full amount. If you choose "Pay Manually" you may receive a welcome email with an invoice for the full payment amount. Please see the "Payment Calendar" section below.
Payment calendar
Novice rowers: We ask that you submit $50 by September 20, and pay the remainder no later than September 30. The graduated payment schedule is meant to let you try the sport out for a given time without feeling pressure to pay. (You are welcome to pay the full payment anytime, of course!). Full payment is required before the first regatta (October 2).
Varsity rowers: Full payment (or a payment plan arrangement) is due by September 13, 2010! If payment has not been arranged by this date, you will not be able to continue rowing until it has been, and we cannot guarantee your participation in regattas.
Scholarships may be available, depending upon financial need and availability of funds.Click here for more information.
