Also: Drake University, University of Delaware, University of Notre Dame, and Purdue University.

Membership Invitation (now closed for 2012)

All Midwest colleges are invited to join MACRA using the following member fee structure: A $45.00 MACRA membership fee is due and should be submitted by March 24, 2012. Payment can be made online via RegattaCentral. Checks should be made out to "MACRA." This fee was voted on by the membership and is used solely for additional on-water improvements to the regatta. An accounting to the membership for these fees will be provided by the Local Host Committee and will be available at the regatta. Questions regarding membership should be submitted to GVSU Head Coach John Bancheri at 616-331-2369 or bancherj@gvsu.edu.

Entry Fees

$12.00 per person for member schools and $15.00 per person for non-member schools. There is a cap on entry fees of $450.00 for member schools. There is no cap on non-member schools. There is a strict 2-event limit per athlete, excluding coxswains. No races will be postponed for hot seating, and doubling is at your own risk. Scratches will be assessed a $50 fee per boat at the regatta.

Payment for membership as well as entries can be made on-line through the registration website, www.regattacentral.com

Entrants/Events

Each school may submit up to two entries in each event. “B” crews do not receive points. All athletes may row in as many as two separate events. This rule is waived for coxswains. There will be no accommodations for equipment or athlete “hot seating”. One (1) entry only in the 1st Varsity Eight event is allowed. Every member is expected to row up to the varsity eight event. In order to enter a “B” or second four, you must first enter the eight event of that category.

Eligibility

All competitors must be full time registered students according to Dad Vail and/or NCAA Rules.

Waivers

Everyone must complete a standard USRowing Waiver – waivers are due upon registration in hard copy, or if your crew has completed the 2012 USRowing online waiver, please email regattas@grrowing.org so that your registration will be noted.
