This is the GRRA's high school program for summer 2012, accepting rowers from any school in the Grand Rapids area. Rowers should be entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year in high school, and previous rowing experience is helpful.

Athletes should plan to compete in Grand Rapids colors in the State Games of Michigan/Grand Regatta in Grand Rapids on Saturday, June 23, as well as at the Michigan Club Invitational Regatta in Ann Arbor on Saturday, July 21.  Regatta entry fees and travel costs are not included in the program fee.

Practices are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Grand Rapids Boathouse. Just 28 spaces are available for the program, and those fill quickly!

The fee for the entire program is $200, although students that have also enrolled in the high school camp (August 6 - 10) will be sent a $50 refund on this program at the completion of the camp.

Registrations will be accepted on an ongoing basis throughout the summer. Please direct questions to coach Lauren Holben at lauren@grrowing.org, an experienced GRRA coach that is also the head coach for the Grand Rapids Rowing Association's Adult Learn to Row programs, as well as head coach of Northview High School's rowing program.
