Keep on building your technique!

This 200-level indoor rowing class is intended for those with previous indoor rowing experience. Participants will learn advanced techniques for maximum power and stroke efficiency, and will consider racing strategies, use of the anaerobic threshold, interval work, and training strategies to improve power and results.

Students should have previously taken a 100 level indoor rowing course, although in some cases beginning rowers will be accepted with the permission of the coach.  Come dressed to row (shorts & t-shirt)!

Your instructor will be Sarah Walczewski, captain of the GRRA's masters women's team, for a four-session class at the YWCA in downtown Grand Rapids. Locker rooms are available at the YWCA, and parking is available on the street or in nearby parking lots.

Classes meet 7:00 - 9:00 pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Attendance is limited! Register now to hold your place.
$75/non-members, $55/members

Indoor Rowing 201: Technical Competence meets 2/19, 2/21, 2/26, and 2/28.
