Welcome to erging! The erg (indoor rowing machine) is the gym's best kept secret.

This 100-level indoor rowing class is intended for those with little to no rowing experience who want to learn how to effectively use the indoor rower for a great low-impact, full-body workout, as well as those wanting a refresher. The class is a useful intro for those rowing to cross-train for other sports, or as an intro to outdoor rowing in the summer. Come dressed to row (shorts & t-shirt)!

Your instructor will be Sarah Walczewski, captain of the GRRA's masters women's team, for a four-session class at the YWCA in downtown Grand Rapids. Locker rooms are available at the YWCA, and parking is available on the street or in nearby parking lots.

Classes meet 7:00 - 9:00 pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Attendance is limited! Register now to hold your place.
$75/non-members, $60/members

Indoor Rowing 103: Indoor Rowing Elements meets 2/5, 2/7, 2/12, and 2/14.
