This five-day rowing camp is intended to give a good introduction to rowing for middle schoolers... Rowers should be in middle school or entering high school in the fall, and need no previous rowing experience.

Session II is not a continuation of Session I... both sessions are mutually exclusive. However, athletes may use Session II to continue their instruction from Session I.

As with session I, just 20 slots are available... be sure to sign up soon!

Practices take place every weekday - M, T, W, Th, F - from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Grand Rapids Boathouse. Participants will learn basic rowing techniques and will also have the opportunity for informal competition throughout the program.

The fee for the entire week is just $100. Students that also intend to enroll in the Summer Middle School Rowing program will also receive a code for a $50 discount on that program at the completion of the camp.

Please direct questions to coach Lauren Holben at lauren@grrowing.org, an experienced GRRA coach that is also the head coach for the Grand Rapids Rowing Association's adult Learn to Row programs, as well as head coach of Northview High School's rowing program.
