Facilities
Boathouse: The Grand Rapids boathouse (new picture coming soon) is the GRRA's home base during the warmer months. It is located at 291 North Park St. NW just north of Grand Rapids city limits, behind Greenleaf Landscaping (we share a driveway). Feel free to stop by sometime to check the club out!
Directions History/Construction

Lola, one of the boathouse dogs.
And here's Bella, another boathouse dog.

Beans, arguably the fiercest boathouse dog.

Here's Shelldon, the boathouse turtle.
He is a good example to all our learn-to-row athletes; a little slow, for now, but at ease in his shell.

Here's an aerial photo of the boathouse (c. 2008).

Not shown in the pictures are our new practice dock (with a "dock-box" trainer) in the pond, nor our new security measures on the boathouse. Certified members have free access to the boathouse during the day so they can row at their convenience. The White Pine Trail is visible behind the boathouse in the aerial photo above, which gives great access for members and guests wishing to bike or hike!
Indoor Training: The club makes its winter home at the YWCA, in downtown Grand Rapids. Members have access during scheduled practice times to full locker rooms, the club's rowing machines, weightlifting equipment, video feedback, and a gymnasium.
