Lauren Holben

Lauren rowed for Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mi for four years, in addition to serving on the board her senior year. She participated in such regattas as Head of the Charles in Boston, Dad Vail in Philadelphia, and most recently she finished her rowing career overseas at the prestigious Henley Women's Regatta in Henley-Upon-Thames, England. 

She received a gold medal in the Varsity Women's 4+ at ACRA National Championships, as well as silver in the Women's DII/DIII 8+ at Dad Vail her Junior year and 4th place at Head of the Charles in the Women's Collegiate 8+ her sophomore year. She also helped coach the high school summer program at GRRA, and taught sculling classes at the Grand Valley boathouse.

Lauren currently lives in Grand Rapids with her dog Beans, and coaches Adult Learn to Row classes as well as summer and fall junior programs for the GRRA. She is also the head coach of the Northview High School rowing team during the spring season, and is USRowing Level II certified.
